Family Based Programs

MCFS provides 26 weeks of intensive community and home-based therapeutic intervention, case management  and support for children, adolescents and their families experiencing emotional and behavioral problems. Family Based Programs include the following services:

Counseling/Therapeutic Services
Intensive Case Management: 
Advocacy  
Information and Referral

Prevention Workshops and support group sessions are geared toward increasing awareness and equipping youths and families with the necessary support and resources to make informed and responsible choices. Pregnancy, early parenthood, drug and alcohol, persoanl hygiene, sexually transmitted disease and illiteracy prevention are a few of the topics taught.

Information Referral provides families with resources for parenting, domestic violence, employment, education assistance, drugs, alcohol, pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease prevention.
